BEHIND THE SMILE

I have always been creative in one form or another and this blog is a journal of my professional development and the journey I have embarked on.

 

It took me a long time to realise what I wanted to do when I grew up, forty odd years in fact.  It also took a lot to decide to walk away from the career I'd had for the last fifteen years in Information Technology and to take on full time study for the first time since high school.  

 

With the decision made, I embarked on this crazy journey and am currently completing my second year of a Bachelor of Games Design at Griffith University.

 

Over the years I have had the opportunity to be involved in a number of creative projects, from acting in amatuer theatre productions, lead singer of a cover band, voice acting and voiceover work, writing for and editing the monthly newsletter for an online motorcycle group and most recently, writing columns, tutorials and editorials for an online magazine aimed at the hobbyist 3D market focusing on Daz Studio software.
